Townley Associates is a food product development consultancy based in North Carolina. We believe in our clients and help them achieve their goals. We have more than 40 years of research and development experience in food manufacturing, service, and food science.
We are based in North Carolina, but we serve clients everywhere. Our clients range from local startups to established international businesses. No matter who we are working with, we have a reputation for developing innovative food products.
Roger Townley, President
Roger Townley founded Townley Associates after previously directing food research and development at two major food service companies. In his career, he has helped over 150 clients succeed in over 800 projects. In over 40 years of work as a food scientist, Roger has developed expertise in a wide range of areas. Roger is a Certified Food Scientist. He received a Master of Science in Food Science from North Carolina State University.
Outside of the food industry, Roger was awarded the 2008 Ruby Powell Blood Services Award for his work promoting and supporting blood donation with the Frederick E. Turnage Chapter of the American Red Cross.
